In 2023, the CoolJazz festival achieved Carbon Zero status.
To reduce its environmental and climate impact, this edition involved quantifying the greenhouse gas emissions resulting from the festival’s activities and offsetting them through national forest projects.
Over 129 tonnes of carbon emissions are being offset, including not just the emissions of the festival’s operations but also those from artists and their crews travel and accommodations.
